BUBBLEMAKER COURSE

The PADI Bubblemaker course is a scuba pool experience designed for 8 to 9 yr olds. This is a course designed to give the children a safe, fun underwater experience. An initial brief covers a presentation on some inportant scuba diving rules and an orientation to scuba equipment. Then its a dive in the pool to blow some bubbles!

Children scuba dive under close supervision from their instructor while playing with underwater frisbees, Torpedos and underwater games.

Please note. Prior to taking part in the course all participants must complete the PADI bubblemaker statement. Both participant and parent/guardian must sign the form. If any YES answers appear on the medical questionnaire, then the student must visit their GP and have page 2 of the full PADI medical signed declaring fitness to dive.

PADI SEAL TEAM COURSE

The PADI Seal Team course is the next step from the Bubblemaker course. Children learn new scuba diving skills and learn about the aquatic realm while completing 5 fun Aquamissions. Each Aquamission starts with an Aquamission dvd presented by a cartoon cast of Aquamission heroes. Children complete Aquamission challenges in a real diving log book and then go for a dive. During the dives, children learn real scuba skills and play fun underwater games. After completion of each Aquamission, children fill out details of their dive and receive a sticker.

This is a pool based course and an ideal preparation for future PADI courses.

• Duration 6 hours (2 days)/4 day Recre8 version also available
• Cost £195/£220(includes Seal Team Crew Pack and certification)

PADI MASTER SEAL TEAM COURSE

The PADI Master Seal Team is the follow on course from the PADI Seal Team.

As our new divers develop their scuba scuba skills through the Seal Team course they prepare for the next challenge, to become a Master Seal!!

Master Seal Team participants take part in 10 exciting specialty Aquamissions:

Creature ID Specialist

Environment Specialist

Inner space Specialist

Navigation Specialist

Night Specialist

Safety Specialist

Search and Recovery Specialist

Skin Diver Specialist

Snapshot Specialist

Wreck Specialist

The course buids on experience already gained on the Seal Team and provides a great preparation to enrol in the PADI Open Water Diver course in the future.

Age: 8 to 10 yrs

Duration: 7/8 hrs approx (over 3/4 sessions)

Cost: £205/£220(includes certification)

PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL COURSE

The PADI open water referral course is the first step to becoming a qualified PADI Open water diver.

The course is split into 2 sections:

• Theory. Students study from the PADI Open water diver manual. There are 5 study sections and knowledge reviews. Each section is accompanied by a DVD and students complete the theory element with a 50 question multiple choice final exam.

• Confined Water. During the confined water section, students complete a Waterskills  assessment and 5 confined water dives. During the confined water dives, students practice skills in preparation for the Open water environment.

SMG SCUBA offers a 3 day course as part of the Recre8 programme in the school holidays,. This format is perfect for the younger participants.12-16 yrs
